Make the best grape popsicles at home with this simple and easy recipe! Homemade fresh grape ice recipe made with thick grape juice, all pure and natural. Best summer popsicles recipe with easy step-wise pictures.
My next recipe in the popsicle mini-series that I am running is Grape Popsicles. If I said that it is one of the best popsicle recipes I ever made, it would still be an understatement. As I have been making these variety of popsicles in the last week, my family has been rating each recipe and this fresh grape ice made it top of the list. And I simply loved making this as I love grapes a lot and it was so simple to churn this ice pops recipe.
When I saw some fresh, plump blue grapes on sale I knew for sure that I had to buy a pack. My initial idea was to make popsicles with tender coconut water and to use fresh fruits to fill it up. As I tasted one of the grapes, I knew I had to try grape popsicles too and thus fresh grape ice was made.
These grape popsicles have just fresh grapes, some sugar for sweetness and little water – nothing else. I blended everything together, strained the mixture and poured into the popsicle moulds. In fact, every single popsicle recipe that I made in the last week has been very simple and required low effort, but each one tasted out of the world. Time and again, I realize how easy it is to make your favorite food at home than head-out to a store or restaurant. There are no preservatives, no added colors and more than anything, you know what went into it. These grape popsicles are all fresh and natural.
Use good quality grapes that are plump and juicy, not so sour ones – you can cut short on the sugar too. My grape pulp to water ratio was 85:15, so that the fresh grape ice tasted like real fruit. It was so soothing to enjoy it on a hot afternoon and trust me, it was creamy – although there is no milk or fresh cream, all because of the thick grape pulp.

I love grapes too, and grape popsicles too. It would be so much fun making these at home! 🙂
May I ask a silly question? How do you fix the sticks into the popsicles? I have always struggled with this.
chcooks
I insert the sticks once the popsicles are half way set 🙂
