Ingredients

Milk

Black Tea Leaf Powder
2

Ginger Piece
washed and peeled

Instructions
Wash and peel off the skin from ginger. Crush it well and add it to half cup of water. Let it simmer for 1-2 mins on low heat.
Add the tea powder and let this simmer on low heat for 5-6 mins.
As the mixture boils, flavors of ginger and tea powder are released and the water turns a deep brown.
Add 2 cups of milk and mix well.
Let this boil on low heat for 6-7 mins. If the tea begins to boil, stir quickly using a spoon and continue simmering for another 3-4 mins.
Simmering makes the tea strong and helps develop flavor. Finally add sugar and mix well.
Strain off the tea onto serving cups. If desired, swish the tea from one cup to another quickly until it is frothy.
Serve hot with snacks of your choice.
