In a mixing bowl add ¼ cup all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon Kashmiri red chilli powder, ½ teaspoon garam masala powder, ¼ teaspoon turmeric powder, ¼ teaspoon ginger garlic paste and salt as needed.
Add water little by little and make a thick paste.
Now add ½ cup paneer cubes and mix them well to coat them with the batter.
In a plate add ⅓ cup panko breadcrumbs. Roll each paneer cube coated with batter tightly in breadcrumbs. Set aside.
Load the air fryer tray with the prepared paneer cubes. Set it on 180°C for 8 mins and switch on the air fryer.
Shake the paneer cubes once at the midway mark at 4 mins and continue cooking.
Remove the golden crispy paneer popcorn using tongs onto a serving plate.
Serve hot immediately with tomato ketchup (optional) on the side.
