First soak dry figs and dates in enough water. Use hot water for faster soaking time of 15-20mins. You can also soak them overnight keep them refrigerated.
In a blender jar add the soaked figs and dates along with the red banana.
Add 1.5 teaspoon of raw hemp protein powder and ¼ teaspoon cinnamon powder.
Next add 2 cups of cold milk (or replace with water).
Blend until smooth for about a minute.
Adjust the consistency by adding more liquid (milk or water) if necessary.
Serve cold immediately with 1-2 teaspoon hulled hemp hearts sprinkled on top.
Notes
Add sugar or honey if the natural sweetness of the bananas, figs and dates is not sufficient.
Bananas can be frozen until ready to blend, to make a creamy and rich smoothie bowl.
Use regular yellow bananas instead of red bananas.
