Instructions
Keep the cut fruits chilled until the custard is ready.
Reserve 4 tablespoon of milk and heat the rest in a pan, stirring it around for 2 mins.
Meanwhile add corn flour, vanilla essence, yellow food color in a bowl.
Add the reserved milk and mix it well so that there are no lumps.
Add this mixture to the boiled milk and quickly stir around, to ensure there are no lumps.
Cook the custard on low flame, stirring continuously until it thickens slightly.
Add sugar and mix well.
Continue cooking the custard on low flame until it coats the back of the spoon nicely. Switch off the heat.
Let it cool down completely. Mix it with fresh fruits or layer them in between layers of custard. Keep it chilled until ready to serve.
