1 cup = 250ml, 1 tablespoon = 15ml, 1 teaspoon = 5ml

Large Pinch of Saffron/Kesar

Instructions
In a bowl, bring water to boil. Add almonds and keep them covered for 5-10 mins.
Once cooled down, remove the skin of almonds/badam.
Grind the de-skinned almonds along with cardamom powder into a not so smooth powder.
Meanwhile, boil the milk and on low flame, continuously stir and reduce the milk until it is ¾th the original quantity.
Add the ground almond/badam powder along with saffron and mix well.
As the milk thickens, remove from heat.
Serve hot/warm/cold with additional chopped almonds and saffron on top.
