This is going to be a non-food post for today, for I am not able to contain my joy. Everything else can wait as I am officially an aunt now. Yay 😀 My little sister has been blessed with a baby girl this morning. And I take the title of "Pedamma", all credits to this little angel who has brought loads of happiness to our family.
I have not written much about my sister or our beautiful relationship on this blog, but she is a God's gift to me. She is more than just a sister and one of the best things to happen in my life. Today, to imagine the apple of my eye as a mother feels totally unbelievable. At every stage of my life, my sister played a huge part. She was there for me when I happy and she was there when I was low. She is my best friend, my confidante, my rock support and my everything. She has always been the elder brother/sister that I never had. She is the youngest of our family and needless to say, she was pampered to the core - especially by me. At the same time, I have been very hard on her too, playing the tough elder sister. We are sisters for life and I cant imagine a life without my little sister. I am going through a mixture of emotions right now and no words can describe how I feel.
Today, I cant help but be very proud of her for every fight she had to put up. In fact, I have a thing or two I could learn from her. Until this very morning when we finally heard the good news, everything was chaotic and every moment was filled with tension. It had been a long roller coaster ride for both my sister and BIL through out the pregnancy and I am so glad, this little princess has finally arrived. I cant wait to touch and hold the baby and be with my sister.

Yes Lynn! She stays in a different state and we are 7 hrs apart 🙂 I am too busy with work and couldnt stay for more than a day but will surely visit again in two weeks.
