We are stepping into New Year in less than a day and I would like to take some time revisiting how 2015 was for me. When I created this blog, my only purpose was to put up recipes that I wished not to forget and to record my kitchen experiments. This blog was neglected for over two years and this year I took it into my hands to make sure it stayed up-to-date. I started blogging with a renewed sense of excitement, planning weekend menus in such a way that the recipes could be put up over the week. I started posting recipes every weekday from 22nd of May this year and I am super proud to have continued the tradition all through the year. Inspite of the weekend trips, festivals, tight project schedules at work, health issues – I continued to keep up the promise I made to myself – to post every single week day for the rest of the year. I have posted a total of 163 recipes – just this year (which is way more than what I have posted over the last two years combined!)
In this awesome journey of blogging, I have also made friends with many of you wonderful people. Inspite of what I might say, every single comment and like boosted my confidence and helped me keep going! A big heartfelt thanks to all of you from the bottom of my heart. I am so glad I revived this blog from all the dust it had gathered and I am more than enthused to keep this going.
It goes without saying that I am so grateful to my ever supportive family. My husband, parents and my sister – are my pillars of support. Number of times I have had my husband waiting for food, taking all the time in the world to click pictures. Never once has he complained 🙂 My parents and sister check my recipes every single day and share their valuable feedback 🙂 I have not mentioned my dad many a times on this blog but he checks my posts the minute I hit the publish button – to show his support for this blog of mine 🙂 My mom and sister collect and share recipes with me all the time. My mother-in-law doesn’t understand blogging or that I have a food blog but always has been excited to share her recipes with me. If not for my family and their support, I could not have posted all these recipes this year! 🙂
