Crispy, crunchy and golden Zero Oil Paneer Popcorn Video Recipe made in Air Fryer. Learn how to make healthy paneer popcorn with no oil.
Today’s recipe of Paneer Popcorn is a reminder that crispy, crunchy and deliciously golden snacks need not necessarily be deep-fried. Recently I started using Balzano’s Air Fryer and apart from trying recipes like French Fries and Bitter Gourd chips, I was tempted to make Zero Oil Paneer Popcorn. Having owned an oven/OTG for almost a decade now, I kept questioning if I should really invest in one more kitchen appliance. But, this great magical appliance has proved me wrong. It is the most used in my kitchen with at least one new dish being made every day. I will make a detailed post about using oven vs air fryer sometime, but for now I should say that – having an air fryer simplifies frying without any/way lesser oil.
You can make this same recipe of Zero Oil Paneer Popcorn in an oven, if you can keep a close eye and turn the paneer cubes around multiple times to ensure even cooking. With Air Fryer, all it took was 8 mins and I only had to shake/move the paneer cubes once in between at the half way mark. I didn’t have to use any oil at all in the recipe, not even a drop – so this is a perfect little guiltfree snack with no added calories. If you are like me, who hates deep-frying – this is a must try. I have shared many other Zero Oil recipes, check them out too.
