Fresh squeezed pomegranate orange juice recipe by step by step pictures. Immunity Booster Juice made with fresh fruits, ginger and lemon!

    Orange Pomegranate Mocktail

Today's recipe Immunity Booster Juice is slightly different from the usual recipes you see here. I have a refreshing fresh fruit juice made with Pomegranates and Oranges. In this covid era, from hand sanitizers to milk everything is advertised as immunity boosting. The term "immunity" is thrown around on every single thing and is loosely used for every commercial product. As cliched as it sounds, I still decided to name my fresh Pomegranate Orange Juice as Immunity Booster Juice. We all know that immunity is a very relative term and it can't be boosted overnight. It takes continuous effort, and it should be more than just a diet or exercise, it should be a way of life to start seeing changes to one's immunity and this fresh fruit juice can help you move closer to that healthier lifestyle. Along with fresh pomegranate pearls and oranges, I also used lemon juice and fresh ginger - both helpful in fighting infections and building immunity gradually. I used honey to sweeten the juice and it is completely optional. If the oranges are sweet enough, you can feel free to skip any kind of sweeteners.

When is the best time to consume fruit juices?

In my opinion, any kind of fresh juices made with fruits and vegetables should be consumed on empty stomach, preferably first thing in the morning on empty stomach. It is preferable to wait for at least 30 minutes before taking a solid breakfast/meal. That said, fruit juices can also be taken any time of the day to keep yourself hydrated. Consuming fresh juices can ensure that your body absorbs maximum nutrients and anti-oxidants. Make sure that there is no added sugar and keep the additional sweeteners like honey to a minimum to retain all the health benefits of fresh juices. I made this in Balzano Yoga Blender which was really good, with automatic seed separation & stone grind technology.
